2012: Speaker of the Year, Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Convention. 

2021: President, the Comparative Gastroenterology Society 
2022: AVMA Career Achievement in Canine Research Award. 

Authored or co-authored over 150 manuscripts in canine and feline gastroenterology
