Webinar Description:
Vomiting, diarrhea, dysorexia, and weight loss are signs of feline chronic enteropathy (CE) and are common reasons for cats to be presented to veterinary practitioners. A wide range of diseases can lead to symptoms that mimic an enteropathy. The practitioner is first challenged with evaluating if the cause of symptoms is systemic, such as with pancreatic or hepatobiliary disease, or the result of a true enteropathy. Common causes of feline CE include food-responsive disease, inflammatory bowel disease, or low-grade intestinal lymphoma. In this webinar, we will use a case-based approach to review the diagnostic and therapeutic approach and answer the most common practitioner questions about feline CE.
Webinar Agenda:
- Diagnostic Approach
- Systemic Causes to Rule Out
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Additional Diagnostic Considerations Beyond Imaging
- Biopsy Techniques
