Webinar Description:

This webinar will discuss rehabilitation treatments for osteoarthritis and their complementary role in managing the most common musculoskeletal condition in dogs.
Specifically, the role of rehabilitation modalities, such as extracorporeal shockwave treatment, therapeutic laser, thermal modalities and transcutaneous electrical stimulation will be reviewed.
Prescription of therapeutic exercise programs will also be discussed for the arthritic patient. The appropriate use of manual therapy programs, such as stretching and basic joint mobilizations, will also be reviewed.
